O Pedrouzo, Spain - Second last day on the Camino. Since around the 100km mark near Sarria, the pathway has gotten busy with school groups and others walking in a shorter time frame. Today a half marathon of runners passed through, catching us by surprise. Nearly run over by the first and fastest of the pack. Impressive athletes, but a bit disruptive to a contemplative journey. With the end in sight, I feel less excited than at the beginning. Wondering perhaps....What was this about? We'll see what the finish brings tomorrow. Certainly a bit of relief!
My 40 day walk along the El Camino de Santiago... and then a bit of knocking about the UK. June - August 2017.
